Message from the President

On behalf of the Tide in Texas Board, I want to thank all of our members, friends and supporters for an amazing 2019! We were able to raise over $25K for our scholarships while helping to recruit the next generation of BAMA Alumni, giving back to the community and having some fun along the way!

In addition to our game watch parties, a few of the highlights from 2019 included Jermaine “Funnymaine” Johnson in March, volunteering with North Texas Food Bank in April, the Scholarship Banquet in July, being named Out of State Chapter of the Year in July, the Golf Tournament in September, partnering with The College of Commerce Alumni to bring Linda Bonnin, creator of “Where Legends are Made” to Dallas in September, Beat Auburn, Beat Hunger food drive in November, creation of two new scholarships in November and our Christmas Party in December.

We have many events lined up for 2020 including BAMA’s 2020 opener at AT&T Stadium in Arlington VS USC.

All of the success we had in 2019 would not have been possible without the dedication of our officers, past and present, our Parents Group, Young Alumni Group, Student Recruiters and our amazing members and supporters, past and present.

I wish everyone a safe and prosperous New Year!

Roll Tide!!
