Tide in Texas is the North Texas chapter of The University of Alabama National Alumni Association. Tide in Texas is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) and the chapter was recognized by the National Alumni Association as the Out of State Chapter of the Year in 2016 & 2019.

Our chapter supports the University by assisting with the recruitment of Texas students and building scholarships to attract the best students from North Texas high schools.

We invite all Alabama alumni, fans and friends to join us for all our events, including volunteering to be an Officer, working on committees, attending watch parties, and community service.

Tide in Texas serves more than 4,000 alumni and friends in North Texas.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to provide an opportunity for Alabama alumni, family, and friends to meet one another, to promote fellowship and build awareness of the University of Alabama throughout North Texas. We hope to accomplish this through our various meetings, social events and sports viewing parties. Please support your local University community by joining the Tide In Texas.

All money raised support the chapter’s dedicated scholarships for North Texas students and provide an operating budget for the chapter to organize events for both social and professional networking.
